Energy Performance Certificate - EPC

What is an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate)?

An EPC is an Energy Performance Certificate that gives information on the current efficiency of your property and provides information on how to make your home or commercial property more efficient and reduce carbon emissions. EPC certificates are now a legal requirement for all properties in England and Wales that are bought, sold, built and rented.

An EPC certificate must be carried out by a certified EPC assessor like our selves.

Why do I need an EPC?

The purpose of the EPC survey is to discover the current state of your properties efficiency and help improve that. It is now a legal requirement because of environment concerns in the England and Wales.

If you're considering having a solar panel installation then you will also require an EPC to receive the lucrative 21p per kWh Feed-in-Tariff. But don't worry we will provide you with an EPC for FREE if your installation is carried out by Northern Energy Solutions.

How does it work?

One of our certified EPC assessors will survey your property and carry out any onsite work that is needed; we will then provide you with a detailed EPC certificate and your current grade. The legal grade is D, we can assure you that we will help you reach this grade.
